welcome

Welcome! Haere Mai! Kia Ora!

Asthma Canterbury is a not-for-profit incorporated society. We employ specialist registered nurses to help those affected by asthma, COPD or other respiratory conditions.

Our objective is:

"To improve the quality of life for people with asthma and related diseases throughout the Canterbury area by providing support, education, resources and knowledge to its members and the wider community".

The Society's operations are co-ordinated by a professional manager and we have volunteer management committee. It is affiliated to the Asthma & Respiratory Foundation of NZ and Asthma NZ/Lung Association. We hold a contract of 70 hours per week with the Canterbury District Health Board, for the provision of services.
