Important information
- You will need a referral letter from your doctor stating that he or she feels that you would benefit from the use of a nebuliser. This letter can be faxed to us straight from the doctor's surgery, posted, emailed, or delivered to us in person (by appointment).
- The maximum nebuliser hire period is one month.
- When you hire a nebuliser, you will also need to buy a giving set. A giving set consists of the tubing, mask and nebuliser bowl used for administering inhalants through the nebuliser. For hygiene reasons a new set is required for each person who hires the nebuliser.
- You will be requested to sign a hire agreement.
- Please phone 366-5235 to make an appointment.
- During this appointment you will receive a demonstration of the use of the nebuliser and the giving set plus written resources.
Costs:
- You will need to pay a $50 refundable deposit when you hire a nebuliser.
- Nebuliser hire is $10 per week for members and $15 per week for non-members.
- A giving set costs $8.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members.
Payments need to be made by cash or cheque as we do not have eft-pos or card facilities.
