Important information

  1. You will need a referral letter from your doctor stating that he or she feels that you would benefit from the use of a nebuliser. This letter can be faxed to us straight from the doctor's surgery, posted, emailed, or delivered to us in person (by appointment).
  2. The maximum nebuliser hire period is one month.
  3. When you hire a nebuliser, you will also need to buy a giving set. A giving set consists of the tubing, mask and nebuliser bowl used for administering inhalants through the nebuliser. For hygiene reasons a new set is required for each person who hires the nebuliser.
  4. You will be requested to sign a hire agreement.
  5. Please phone 366-5235 to make an appointment.
  6. During this appointment you will receive a demonstration of the use of the nebuliser and the giving set plus written resources.

Costs:

  • You will need to pay a $50 refundable deposit when you hire a nebuliser.
  • Nebuliser hire is $10 per week for members and $15 per week for non-members.
  • A giving set costs $8.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members.

Payments need to be made by cash or cheque as we do not have eft-pos or card facilities.
